Reverse Catcher

This is a very unusual, novelty trick performed on a rig with a swinging catcher. The catcher sits in the trapeze facing the other way to usual. This means that at the moment of the catch they are facing downwards, not up.

Tricks where the flyer is facing up (like a Single Reverse Knee Hang) which are normally caught with the Stick, can then be caught by the wrists. Alternatively, novelty tricks like a Reverse Legs catch can be caught with a regular legs grip. Given the difficulty of the catch and the position for the catcher, usually only simple position tricks are possible.
