Other Names: Reverse Hocks-style Knee Hang
Swing out and make a half turn at the frontend. At the platform, bring your legs up, open them and hook them on the bar outside of the hands. Tip your head back to look for the catcher. Keep holding the bar until the front end when you let go of the fly bar and catch the stick that the catcher is holding out for you. Unhook your legs and swing down.
This trick can be done as a nice Reverse Trick in its own right (bringing your legs up in a Straddle is quite pretty). It can also be used with students who reach the level of doing a Single or Double Reverse Knee Hang but don't have the flexibility to pass their knees between their hands.
Be aware of the lines when hooking the knees - they can sometimes get hooked with the knees and care is needed to make sure they are unhooked when you come off the bar at the moment of the catch.
