Kamarina closed in October 2022 having been one of the longest lasting circus villages for Club Med in Europe.
The trapeze was located in the hard-sufrace sports area, at the end of the driveway to the entrance and next to the Mini Club. It was well equipped, with several trampolines and two free standing frames for aerial training in addition to the full sized outdoor rig. The village was very large and so classes could be very busy during the peak season. Shows were held in a large big-top circus tent, which served as the resort's main theatre.
The trapeze was previously located in the stone amphitheatre behind the restaurant. Although this was an impressive location, there was little shade around the structure.
