Flying Trapeze Vacations
Have you discovered flying trapeze, but live too far from a school to be able to participate regularly? Perhaps you tried it while on vacation in a resort such as Club Med and would now like to travel somewhere for some more focused training? Or perhaps you just fancy taking a vacation to do some flying in a new location with new teachers etc.
You have a number of options:
Resorts with Flying Trapeze
Resorts, such as Club Med, are great places to get started. A huge number of recreational (and professional) flyers from around the world started this way. They are usually in beautiful locations, with great food, and make for fantastic vacations. Trapeze will be just one of many activities, so you will be able to choose how much you do. They usually operate a 'first-come-first-served' system, so during busy periods you might end up waiting a long time for a turn. They mostly cater for all levels of experience, although it is typically not the best environment for very focused training.

Summer Camps
Summer camps are also great trapeze vacation options, particularly if you choose one that offers a focused circus program. However, options for adults are rather rare and most are only for children (up to 18).
There are loads of Summer Camp options, particularly in North America, and they usually offer extended stays with food and lodging included. Book on their websites.
Trapeze Schools
Below you will find a curated list of trapeze schools that I consider to be good options for trapeze vacations. I've selected the schools on this list for a number of reasons:
- They regularly offer extended courses or workshops (not just evening classes).
- They are in a location that makes for a great vacation (with other things to do and see when you are not flying).
- They offer accomodation and/or food onsite, or it is easy to find in the vicinity.
