Backend Stork

Trick ID: 010
Also known as: Backend Splurdy (Split-Birdie)

Backend Bird's Nest with one leg straight.

Explanation

Wrists Catch
Swing out and back with your hands slightly further apart than usual. At the backend, bring your legs up in front and place the top of one foot (shoe laces) on the bar, next to the hand on the same side. Pass the other leg between your legs, straight. Continue the movement with your butt so that it passes between your hands and push your head back so your back arches. The position is similar to a Bird's Nest, but with one leg straight. As a result, it is harder and less stable than a Bird's Nest. Let go at the peak at the frontend and drop into the catcher's arms.
